This summer I have risked all of my knee skin and put my
bones in jeopardy by taking doughhead Copper rollerblading as often as I
could. It has been so much
fun. On occasion I have even
invited Ruby along. Juggling both
their leashes and keeping them in line is a massive self esteem boost. Especially when we return to the house
with pristine knee skin.
Tips for rollerblading with your dog:
-Know how to roller skate.
-Ensure that your meathead dog knows that you’re the boss.
-Know when to drop the leash and save yourself.
-Watch traffic and ensure that traffic watches you.
-Let your dog visit briefly with other dogs on leash then be
the boss and keep going!
-Be wary of dogs off leash and the squirrel/rabbit
population.
-Think: knee skin.
I saw a girl the other day rollerblading and wearing
earphones. Good thing winter is
almost here because it’s going to take months for her knee skin to
realign. Poor chicken. Nicholas starts hockey this
weekend. I am 100% against playing
hockey and walking your dog at the same time. Danger bay.
