We are learning to
compromise here. It seems to be
the toughest lesson for me, not so much for the male set around here. They can “whatever” and “sure” pretty
much anything. I love that they
have heart.
Decision to be weighed by
Copper:
Should I go swimming in the
river at the dog park?
Downside: I will be wet and
cold. There will be thousands of
burrs on the riverbank that will tangle in my paws. Also, Shannon will not go with me and it is my dream to be
within three meters of her at all times.
Upside: I will swim!!! Dumb dog Ruby will join me!!!
Swimming prevails.
Decision to be weighed by
Nicholas:
Should I fall asleep or lay
in bed practicing my new found skill of finger snapping?
Downside: None.
Upside: Things might even
out in my abilities and I might strengthen my left hand snap. I can share joyous noise with people!
Snaps for snaps.
Decision to be weighed by
Jeff:
Should I try to sneak in one
more trip to Canadian Tire this week.
Downside: I recognize
employees and have the floor plan memorized.
Upside: One more trip will
make it an even dozen and I can add more Canadian Tire money to the junk
hammock between the front seats of the van.
To the Can Tire!
I’m getting better at trusting
my swim in the river/finger snap practicing/go to the Can Tire instincts. Less small stuff sweating and more big
picture thinking. Right now our
big picture includes a clean sweep of the basement. Ugh. River
swimming anyone?
Posted this photo on the
face-type-book earlier this week.
Oh Mario.
